EMA Metrologistics provides three services in the environmental area: soil cleaning and remediation, black smoke emissions control, and leak containment.
What it includes
- Soil cleaning: remediation and decontamination technologies for soil, to mitigate environmental impacts and recover the affected areas.
- Black smoke control: control and mitigation of black smoke emissions, process improvements and fuel feasibility projects, focused on the particles generated by combustion.
- Leak containment: proactive and preventive actions on a continuous basis, together with damage control and repair measures.
Soil remediation and recovery
On affected soil, EMA manages the remediation and decontamination work, which is carried out by specialized subcontractors, to mitigate environmental impacts and recover the affected site.
Emissions and combustion
The black smoke work covers control of the emission itself, as well as process improvements and fuel feasibility studies, with a focus on the particles generated when fuel is burned.
Leak containment
Leak containment is treated as a continuous task: preventive action before an incident happens, and damage control and repair measures once it has occurred.
